Purpose of the Job

The Data Analyst plays a crucial role in supporting company operations and decision-making through data analysis. This role involves collecting, cleaning, and analyzing data from various sources to generate insights that inform credit risk assessment, performance monitoring, and strategic planning.

Main duties and Responsibilities
Collecting data from primary and secondary data sources, Cleaning, processing, storing, and managing data that involves the transactions and other activities of the company.

• Analyzing and interpreting data to make informed decisions related to credit risk and identifying, analyzing, and interpreting trends or patterns in complex data sets.
• To develop weekly and monthly credit reports, dashboards and visualizations to monitor key metrics and tracking performance of all Relationship Managers, analyzing Turn Around Time for every department, Purpose of funds, Total number of clients both
• Repeats and new customers, Loan Products as well as consolidating and documenting findings and solutions which must then be submitted to the Managing Director for review and approval.
• To capture, organize and clean all the required CRB Data for different files such as Credit Application (CAP), Credit Borrowers Account (CBA) and other Eight (8) files to enable the submission of credit history for all clients.
• To create and design the structures of databases, Spreadsheets and surveys by choosing what data types to store and collect, establish how data categories are related, and work through how the data appears.
• Organize and accurately complete multiple tasks by establishing priorities while taking into consideration special assignments from Managing Director, frequent interruptions, available resources and multiple reporting relationships and defining new process improvement opportunities.
• Communicating the results of data findings through creating visualizations like charts and graphs, write reports, and to effectively communicate insights to different Company stakeholders.
• To maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, trainings, reviewing professional publications and establishing personal networks.
• Analyze credit risk data to assess the creditworthiness of borrowers by evaluating their financial history, main purposes of their loans and payment habits to support informed loan decisions.
• Ability to manage competing deadlines, work with management to prioritize business and information needs and staying up-to-date with Goldmine’s lending protocols.
• Predicting market trends and forecasting the risks and opportunities that are rising from the dynamic nature of the economy, analyzing and studying the income and expense trends of company, and suggesting measures for the Company to reduce expenses and boost income.

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in statistics or related field • Diploma in data science and business analytics or related

Knowledge and Experience

• Minimum of 3 years of relevant working experience.

Skills • Good analytical and reporting skills.
