Position: Monitoring & Evaluation Fellow

Position Overview
The Monitoring & Evaluation Fellow is responsible for supporting the Foundation in tracking progress, measuring impact, and ensuring accountability across all program areas. The Fellow assists in data collection, entry, analysis, and reporting to inform programmatic
decision-making and demonstrate outcomes to stakeholders. This role is essential to fostering a culture of evidence-based learning and continuous improvement within the organization.
Position Objectives
M&E System Support and Data Quality: Provide technical support for implementing GGF’s M&E framework, tools, and systems, ensuring data integrity and reliability.
Data Analysis, Reporting, and Learning: In collaboration with the Program Officer, ensure program quality and measurable impact through continuous data analysis, visualization, and adaptive management informed by performance data.
Community feedback and Program Area Support: Strengthen community-centric accountability by systematically collecting and integrating community feedback into program adaptations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Statistics, Demography, Social Sciences, Development Studies, Public Health, Economics, or a related field. Recent graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Prior experience in M&E, research, or data management is an added advantage.
- Familiarity with community-based work, especially with girls and young women, is desirable.
- Proficiency in Google and Microsoft Suite, including pivot tables, formulas, and charts.
- Experience with data collection tools such as ODK, KoboCollect, or SurveyCTO is an asset.
- Basic knowledge of statistical software (SPSS, STATA, or R) is a plus.
- Ability to develop simple data visualizations and dashboards.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Sensitivity to working with adolescent girls and young women in vulnerable contexts.
High integrity, accountability, and commitment to safeguarding and ethical data handling - Fluency in English and Luganda (both written and spoken).
