Sales Account Manager

LOCATION

KAMPALA, UGANDA

The Sales Account Manager will be responsible to drive sales by designing and implementing targeted marketing strategies, maintaining customer relationships, tracking sales data and creating performance reports.

Key Responsibilities:

The ideal candidate should be able to possess the skills below.

Technical Skills

  • Understand company objectives, and conduct market research to evaluate opportunities, identify
    potential partners, develop pricing strategies and negotiate contracts.
  • Contact potential clients, inform them of company products and services, and solicit new business.
  • Maintain and grow the company sales pipeline, forecast sales out, time sales to close, and forecast
  • Oversee sales of company’s products and services, develop sales action plans for new and existing
    clients based on market needs and business objectives.
  • Develop and execute marketing and sales plans and strategies, including creating and updating marketing and sales plans.
  • Create sales strategies to increase company’s revenue and market reach

Leadership and people Skills

  • Team building, coaching, mentoring, driving business performance, Motivating and inspiring, Change management.
  • Influence people to be able to deliver through them.
  • Collaboration and partnering with other departments and functional teams.

Education and certification

  • Bachelor’s degree in any related field
  • 3 years’ experience in sales and marketing (preferably in Startups or Tech companies)

Personal attributes

  • Can-do mentality with the attitude to roll up sleeves and get things done.
  • Clear demonstration of a sense of urgency and energy in achieving set goals.
  • Takes ownership.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent communicator and natural diplomat, capable of seamlessly liaising with internal and external stakeholders on a constant basis.
  • Ability to meet deadlines and to work independently or as a team member
  • Strong sense of personal integrity.
