Hillnate Consultants (U) Limited is recruiting on behalf of a leading manufacturing company based in Luwero.
We are seeking experienced and practical professionals for the following positions:
- Fleet Workshop Officer
- Nurse
- Stores Officer (SAP)
- Accounts Officer
- Purchase Officer
- HR Assistant Manager
These roles require individuals who can work independently, solve problems quickly and support uninterrupted factory operations.
FLEET WORKSHOP OFFICER
The successful candidate will oversee maintenance and operational readiness of the company’s fleet, including trucks, pickups, double-cabin vehicles, vans, motorcycles and other company vehicles.
Requirements:
Experience managing fleet maintenance within a manufacturing, logistics or industrial environment.
Knowledge of preventive maintenance planning and vehicle servicing.
Ability to diagnose operational issues and recommend practical, cost-effective solutions.
Experience supervising mechanics, garages and service providers.
Good understanding of vehicle spare parts and maintenance requirements.
Ability to control maintenance costs and minimize fleet downtime.
Experience maintaining maintenance records and fleet performance reports.
NURSE
Requirements:
Registered Nurse with a valid practising licence.
Previous experience in an industrial, manufacturing or occupational health setting is an added advantage.
Knowledge of workplace health, first aid and emergency response.
Ability to manage employee medical records and support health and safety initiatives.
Good communication and record-keeping skills.
STORES OFFICER (SAP)
Requirements:
Previous experience in a manufacturing environment.
Hands-on SAP experience in inventory and stores management.
Experience managing engineering, mechanical, electrical and instrumentation spare parts.
Knowledge of stock control, cycle counts, stock reconciliations and inventory reporting.
Ability to maintain accurate inventory records and support uninterrupted plant operations.
Advanced Excel skills and ability to analyse inventory data.
High attention to detail and commitment to inventory accuracy.
HR ASSISTANT MANAGER:
Experience processing and reviewing payroll for large workforces.
Advanced Excel skills including VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, INDEX-MATCH, Pivot Tables, IF statements, COUNTIF, SUMIF and data reconciliation.
Ability to identify missing employees, payroll variances, duplicate entries and payroll anomalies using Excel tools and formulas.
Good understanding of labour laws, employee relations, recruitment, performance management, payroll administration, learning & development and HR reporting.
PURCHASE OFFICER:
Experience procuring electrical, instrumentation and engineering materials and spare parts within a manufacturing environment.
Familiarity with sourcing motors, pumps, valves, bearings, gearboxes, sensors, PLC components, control panels, cables, cable lugs, filters, fuses, V-belts, seals, blowers, fans, mixers and related industrial spare parts.
Knowledge of suppliers, service providers and fabrication workshops supporting manufacturing operations.
Ability to identify cost-effective alternatives including repair, refurbishment or fabrication options where appropriate.
ACCOUNTS OFFICER:
Experience in manufacturing accounting, cost accounting and cost control.
Ability to work closely with procurement and stores functions.
Knowledge of inventory controls, supplier reconciliations, cost analysis and financial reporting.
Advanced Excel and SAP experience required.
GENERAL REQUIREMENTS:
Manufacturing industry experience is highly preferred.
SAP knowledge is an added advantage where applicable.
Advanced Microsoft Excel proficiency.
Analytical mindset and practical problem-solving ability.
Ability to work in a fast-paced factory environment.
