REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation, Automation, Telecommunications, Control Systems or a related field.
- SCADA certification is mandatory.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in SCADA systems within the Oil & Gas industry.
- Proven experience in long-distance gas pipeline
SCADA upgrades and control system modernization. - Strong experience with PCs, RTUs, communication networks and industrial control systems.
Experience with Leak Detection Systems (RTM preferred) and Line Pack Management solutions.
- Strong knowledge of industrial cybersecurity standards (IEC 62443, NIST CSF).
- Experience in Disaster Recovery architecture and control room integration.
- Excellent analytical, reporting and stakeholder management skills.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Conduct technical assessment of existing SCADA, PLC/RTU, OT infrastructure and communication systems.
- Develop SCADA modernization and migration strategy.
- Assess and specify upgrade or replacement requirements for PLCs, RTUs and field instrumentation.
- Evaluate and design communication infrastructure improvements.
- Assess and recommend Leak Detection System solutions.
- Design Line Pack Management and pipeline monitoring solutions.
- Design Disaster Recovery site and Backup Control Room architecture.
- Conduct cybersecurity assessment and recommend improvements.
- Prepare technical specifications, BOQ, budgetary cost estimates and implementation roadmap.
- Deliver final consolidated report with strategic recommendations and execution plan.
SCADA CERTIFICATION IS MANDATORY.
Must possess at least one recognized SCADA, Industrial Automation, or Industrial Cybersecurity certification.
