Job details:
The overall job purpose: To market and sell the SME product, assess potential borrowers and ensure timely loan repayments through client relationship management and debt collection strategies.
Key duties/responsibilities:
- Market and promote the company’s loan products and services to prospective clients.
- Identify, recruit, and onboard eligible borrowers.
- Assess loan applications and collect the required documentation.
- Conduct client appraisals and recommend suitable loan products.
- Monitor loan performance and ensure portfolio quality.
- Follow up with clients to ensure timely loan repayments.
- Manage delinquent accounts and implement effective debt collection strategies.
- Respond promptly to client inquiries, concerns, and complaints.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and lending guidelines.
Required Qualifications and Skills:
- Minimum qualification: Uganda Advanced Certificate of Education (UACE/A-Level Certificate).
- Age: 20 Years and above
- Excellent numerical and analytical skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
