PHARMACY ASSISTANT
Duties and Responsibilities
- Medication Dispensing
- Inventory Management
- Customer Service
- Regulatory Compliance
Reports to: Pharmacist
Required Qualifications & Skills:
- Minimum: Certificate in Pharmacy from a recognised institution
- Experience: At least 2 years in a pharmacy setting
- Strong knowledge of pharmaceuticals, dosages, and dispensing procedures
- Excellent attention to detail in medication handling, documentation and record-keeping
- Strong patient counseling and customer service skills
- Proficiency in inventory management and stock control
- Good organizational, multitasking, and computer skills (including pharmacy software)
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced hospital environment
- Team player with high ethical standards and commitment to patient safety
- Relevant professional registration/licensure
