1. Business Development Officer

Job Title: Business Development Officer

Location: Kampala, Uganda

Reports To: Managing Director / Executive Director

Job Summary

The Business Development Officer will drive company growth by identifying new business opportunities, building client relationships, developing strategic partnerships, and increasing revenue in line with organizational goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities and partnerships.
  • Develop and implement sales and business growth
    Strategies
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and stakeholders.
  • Prepare and deliver business proposals, presentations, and bids.
  • Conduct market research and competitor analysis.
  • Lead contract negotiations and close business deals.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Monitor sales performance and prepare periodic reports.
  • Represent the company at industry events, exhibitions, and networking forums.
  • Drive revenue growth and achievement of business targets.
  • Any other responsibilities that may be assigned to you

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Management, Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering, or related field
  • Master’s Degree is an added advantage
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in business development, sales, or strategic partnerships.
  • Proven track record of achieving revenue and growth targets.
  • Strong negotiation, networking, and relationship management skills
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills

2. Procurement Officer

Job Tide: Procurement Officer

Location: Kampala, Uganda

Reports To: Executive Director

Job Summary

The Procurement Officer will manage the sourcing and purchasing of goods and services, maintain supplier relationships, and ensure cost-effective procurement in compliance with company policies. Female candidates are encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and coordinate procurement activities.
  • Source, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers and service providers.
  • Prepare purchase orders and procurement documentation.
  • Monitor supplier performance and maintain supplier databases.
  • Ensure timely delivery of goods and services.
  • Conduct market surveys and price comparisons.
  • Manage inventory levels and coordinate with user departments.
  • Ensure compliance with procurement policies and procedures.
  • Prepare procurement reports and records.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering Environmental or related field

  • Strong negotiation and analytical skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and procurement systems
3. Health, Security, Safety & Environment (HSSE) OFFICER
Post: HSSE Officer
Location: Nyamasoga Hoima
Reports to: QHSSE Manager

Job Summary

The HSSE Officer will implement and monitor health, safety. security, and environmental programs to ensure regulatory compliance and maintain a safe and healthy workplace.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement HSSE policies and procedures.
  • Conduct safety inspections and risk assessments.
  • Investigate incidents and recommend corrective actions.
  • Conduct safety inductions and employee training
  • Ensure compliance with occupational health and safety regulations.
  • Maintain HSSE records and reports.
  • Promote a safety culture across all company operations.
  • Coordinate emergency preparedness and response activities
  • Monitor environmental compliance and sustainability initiatives.
  • Any other responsibilities that may be given to you

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor ‘s Degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental science, Engineering, or related field
  • Professional HSSE certification (NEBOSH, IOSH, OSHA, or equivalent) is highly desirable.
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in HSSE management
  • Strong knowledge of occupational health and safety regulations.

4. Mechanical Technician

Job Title: Mechanical Technician

Location: Nyamasoga, Hoima District, Uganda

Reports To: Waste Management Services Manager / Operations Manager

Job Summary

The Mechanical Technician will operate, maintain, and troubleshoot mechanical equipment and systems to support efficient, safe, and reliable company operations Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee installation and operation of mechanical systems
  • Schedule/Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance activities
  • Diagnose and resolve mechanical faults and breakdowns
  • Prepare technical reports and engineering documentation.
    Ensure compliance with engineering standards and safety regulations.
  • Monitor equipment performance and recommend improvements.
  • Support project planning and implementation.
  • Reconfirm specifications with suppliers and contractors on technical matters.
  • Any other responsibilities that may be given to you

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
  • Registered with the relevant professional engineering body is an added advantage.
  • Minimum of 3 years’ relevant experience.
  • Proficiency in engineering software and technical documentation.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

5. Position: Assistant Accountant

Location: Kampala, Uganda

Reports To: Accountant / Finance Manager

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the preparation and maintenance of financial records and reports.
  • Process invoices, payments, receipts, and journal entries.
  • Reconcile bank statements and supplier accounts.
  • Maintain accurate accounts payable and accounts receivable records.
  • Assist in payroll processing and statutory deductions.
  • Support monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting.
  • Ensure compliance with tax regulations and company financial policies
  • Prepare supporting documentation for audits.
  • Manage petty cash and maintain proper accounting records.
  • Perform any other finance and administrative duties assigned by management.

 

Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, Business Administration (Accounting Option), or a related field
  • Professional qualifications such as CPA Level Il or ACCA are an added advantage
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in accounting or finance.
  • Proficiency in QuickBooks Accounting Software is required.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel.
  • Knowledge of Uganda tax regulations and statutory requirements.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • High level of integrity, accuracy, and attention to detail.
