MERCHANDISERS (3)

Elysian Strategic Solutions is recruiting on behalf of a reputable FMCG client to fill the position of Merchandisers (FMCG). The job holder will ensure optimal product visibility, availability, and display standards across retail outlets to maximize sales performance.

Working Station: Bugolobi, Kampala – Uganda

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

– Ensure proper product display in retail outlets
– Maintain stock availability and FIFO compliance
– Monitor product movement and report gaps
– Negotiate shelf space and product placement
– Conduct merchandising audits and reporting
– Support promotional activities
– Ensure proper branding and visibility standards are maintained
– Rotate stock to prevent expiry and wastage
– Report competitor pricing and in-store activity

QUALIFICATIONS

– Minimum S.4 qualification
– At least 6 months merchandising experience preferred
– Knowledge of merchandising standards
– Basic inventory understanding
– Strong communication skills
– Ability to work independently
– Customer service orientation
– Attention to detail and consistency in execution
