STORES SUPERVISOR

Elysian Strategic Solutions is recruiting on behalf of a reputable FMCG client to fill the position of Stores Supervisor (FMCG). The job holder will oversee warehouse operations including receiving, storage, stock control, and issuance of goods while ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and compliance with inventory standards.

Working Station: Bugolobi, Kampala – Uganda

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

– Supervise receipt, storage, and issuance of goods
– Maintain accurate stock records and inventory systems
– Conduct cycle counts and stock reconciliations
– Ensure FIFO principles are strictly followed
– Oversee warehouse safety and compliance standards
– Prepare inventory and stock reports

QUALIFICATIONS

Diploma in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Logistics Management, Business Administration, or related field

EXPERIENCE

– At least 4 years’ experience in stores/warehouse/inventory management
– 1–2 years in a supervisory role (FMCG or manufacturing preferred)

SKILLS & COMPETENCIES
– Strong knowledge of inventory control systems
– Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Odoo, Microsoft Dynamics)
– Leadership and team supervision skills
– Strong analytical and reporting ability
– Knowledge of warehouse safety standards (UNBS compliance an advantage)
