Job Summary:
We are seeking a compassionate, experienced, and dynamic Medical Officer to join our team.
The successful candidate will provide high-quality curative and preventive care, diagnose and treat patients, conduct ward rounds, and manage both outpatient and inpatient care in accordance with national health standards and hospital protocols.
Key Responsibilities:
- Examine, diagnose, and manage patients in accordance with established clinical guidelines.
- Prescribe medications and develop appropriate treatment plans.
- Provide emergency and routine medical care to patients.
- Maintain accurate and timely patient medical records.
- Collaborate with nurses, specialists, ano other healthcare professionals to ensure quality patient care.
- Educate patients and their families on disease prevention, treatment options, and healthy lifestyle practices.
- Participate in clinical audits, quality improvement initiatives, and continuing medical education.
- Adhere to professional, ethical, and regulatory standards at all times.
Regulatory Requirements:
- Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBChB).
- Valid registration and a practicing license with the Medical and Dental Practitioners Council
- At least one year of clinical experience.
- Strong clinical decision-making and diagnostic skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team.
- Commitment to delivering high-quality, patient-centered care.
