SITE ARCHITECTURAL ENGINEER
Duties & Responsibilities
- Supervise and monitor all blockwork, masonry, and plastering activities to ensure wall alignment, dimensions, and verticality comply with approved drawings.
- Oversee the installation of premium internal and external floor and wall finishes, including ceramic tiles, marble, granite, painting, and stone cladding.
- Manage ceiling installations and high-end joinery works, ensuring gypsum systems, bulkheads, kitchen cabinets, and built-in furniture meet design specifications.
- Inspect and verify the installation, sealing, and operational functionality of all aluminum works, glass, doors, and fire-rated ironmongery.
- Coordinate external architectural works, including boundary walls, walkways, paving, and hardscape elements to maintain overall project aesthetics.
- Conduct rigorous pre-inspections of architectural works and mock-ups to ensure material compliance before final consultant evaluation.
- Prepare, manage, and track comprehensive site snag lists, driving corrective and rectification works through to successful handover.
- Review contractor submissions, verify shop drawings on-site, and inspect incoming architectural materials to ensure adherence to project guidelines.
- Coordinate daily with structural, civil, MEP, and planning engineers to resolve interdisciplinary design clashes and align execution plans.
- Prepare and submit precise site documentation, including daily reports, weekly progress updates,
Material Inspection Requests (MIR), and Work Inspection Requests (WIR). - Follow up on Site Instructions (Sl) and meticulously verify final as-built drawings to ensure accurate documentation for project closeout.
- Enforce strict health, safety, and environmental (HSE) standards on site, monitoring housekeeping and ensuring absolute PPE compliance.
