MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN/ OPERATOR

THE ROLE

We are looking for a skilled and proactive Maintenance Technician/Operator to ensure the smooth operation, maintenance and reliability of our production machines and utility systems.

EXPERIENCE

• 3 – 5 YEARS relevant experience in a similar field.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Diploma or Certificate in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics or a related field.
• Additional certifications in industrial maintenance or equipment operation will be an added advantage.
• Basic computer literacy.
• Good understanding of safety, quality and GMP practices.
• Experience in a similar field.

KEY KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS

Surgical Face Mask Manufacturing Machines

• Operate, maintain and troubleshoot surgical face mask production lines including ear loop welding, nose bridge, folding, cutting and packing units.

Extrusion Machines

• Operate and maintain PP melt-blown and spunbond extrusion lines; control temperature, pressure and output; troubleshoot screw, barrel, die and haul-off systems.

Filling and Labelling Machines

• Operate, maintain and troubleshoot liquid filling, capping and labelling machines; ensure accurate filling, proper seal integrity and clear labelling.

RO Water Plant – Filtration, UV Systems and Filling

• Operate and maintain RO systems, multi-media filters, activated carbon filters, UV sterilizers and associated pumps; monitor TDS, pressure and flow rates; ensure quality water for production and proper system sanitation.

Other Utility Equipment

• Maintain and troubleshoot laser printers, motors, conveyors, chillers, air compressors and other auxiliary equipment; carry out preventive maintenance and ensure optimum performance and minimal downtime.

General Competencies

• Strong troubleshooting and fault finding skills, ability to read mechanical/electrical drawings and manuals, good problem solving, attention to detail, teamwork and
