Quest Digital Finance Limited (QDF) is a Kampala-based fintech digitising SACCOs, VSLAs and farmer groups across Uganda. We are looking for a Credit Officer / Financial Inclusion to grow a healthy credit book across SACCOs and groups, and to expand real access to finance for underserved members.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Drive credit uptake among SACCOs and groups; appraise, approve and disburse loans in line with QDF’s credit policy.
- Monitor portfolio quality (repayment, arrears, PAR) and lead recovery on delinquent accounts.
- Work with the Finance & Administration team on disbursements, approvals and risk controls.
- Work with the Technology team on Al/ML models that support credit scoring and derisking of Quest loans.
Champion financial inclusion, expanding real credit access for underserved SACCOs, groups and members.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
- 3-5 years in credit management, microfinance or financial inclusion, ideally within a VSLAS, SACCO, MFI or fintech.
- Hands-on experience in loan appraisal, disbursement and arrears/portfolio management.
- Working knowledge of SACCO/SLA operations in Uganda; exposure to credit scoring or data-driven lending is a plus.
- Strong judgement, integrity and attention to detail; comfortable collaborating with Finance and Technology teams.
