Position:

Marketing & Content Officer

Marketing and Content Officer – Nyaka Microfinance (NMF) is an entry-level, field-based role focused on growing NMFs visibility, customer reach, and business development. The officer will lead community outreach, financial literacy, local media engagement, digital marketing, and content storytelling, and support the promotion of Nyaka’s schools and other strategic programmes.

Contract Type: Full-Time

Duty Station: Kanungu District

Key Requirements:

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Mass Communication, Public Relations, or a related
  • 0-2 years of relevant experience in marketing, communications, community outreach, or a related field.
  • Experience in microfinance, financial services, or NGO/development work is an advantage.

Competencies:

• Fluency in Runyankole/Rukiga and English.

Valid motorcycle riding licence

Digital skills, including Social media and content creatior

  • Strong organisation and ability to manage multiple activities.
  • Community engagement and relationship-building skills.
  • Interest in financial inclusion and rural community development.
  • Canva/CapCut or other content creation skills are an added advantage.
