EMPLOYEE ENGAGEMENT OFFICER.

Our client, a Busy Manufacturing Company in FMCG – Fast Moving Consumer Goods, is seeking a passionate and driven Employee Engagement Officer.

Reports to: Head of HR
Location: Uganda
Sector: FMCG Manufacturing

ABOUT THE ROLE:
You will be responsible for driving employee engagement, workplace culture and people experience in a fast-paced FMCG manufacturing environment. You will champion initiatives that enhance staff wellbeing, morale and performance to support business growth.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Develop and implement employee engagement strategies and programs.
2. Drive employee satisfaction, morale and retention initiatives.
3. Organize staff welfare, team building and culture activities.
4. Manage employee feedback, grievances and engagement surveys.
5. Collaborate with Head of HR on performance and retention strategies.
6. Promote a positive, inclusive and high-performance workplace culture.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:
Must be a Ugandan National.
Bachelor’s Degree in HR, Industrial Psychology, Business or related field.
Must have 4 Years driven experience in HR or at the Employee Engagement Officer level.
Experience in FMCG / Manufacturing is highly preferred.

REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS & SKILLS:
HR Certification (SHRM, HRMAU) is an added advantage.
Master’s in HR is an added advantage.
Excellent interpersonal, communication, and emotional intelligence skills.
