POSITION: SENIOR BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT OFFICER
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Broking Business Contribution to New and Renewal Business
- Credit & Debt management
- Contribute positive technical results by writing good quality business.
- Support the Line Manager to develop a marketing & BD plan for top brokers in the Market. Ensure top notch service for all Brokers by coordinating the respective departments to provide committed TATs.
- Participate in development of new products that are bespoke and suitable to our clients through the banks/brokers, and which give GA mileage in the market.
- Closely monitoring and creating a pipeline of all issued quotations to ensure closure, and lost business to ensure recovery but also, paying attention to UW delivery to guarantee customer satisfaction.
- Ensure that all operations with the respective segments are within the set compliance standards, and that the businesses meet both treaty and regulatory guidelines.
- Train and equip Business Development officers
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- 5 years relevant experience
- A bachelor’s degree in business administration or any related field
- A Certificate in Insurance is added advantage
REQUIRED SKILLS:
- Good negotiation and influencing skills.
- Strong networking and relationship skills.
- Demonstrate confidence and a good sales acumen.
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal and communication skills.
- Demonstrate a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail
