Description
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Verify and reconcile carrier invoices with delivery records, trip logs, and contracts
- Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies
- Process payments and record transport expenses Accurately in the ERP system
- Prepare transport cost reports, accruals, and analysis Liaise with transport, warehouse, and finance teams Ensure compliance with tax regulations (VAT, WHT)
- Maintain accurate records and support audits
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 4-6 years of accounting experience, with 2+ years in vendor reconciliation or logistics accounting
- Strong Excel & ERP skills (SAP/Oracle or similar)
- Knowledge of transport operations & freight invoicing
- Excellent English communication (spoken & written)
- Detail-oriented, analytical, and well-organized
- Experience in Uganda or East Africa is an advantage
