We are looking for a skilled and passionate Sous Chef to support our Executive Chef in managing daily kitchen operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong culinary background, excellent leadership skills, and a commitment to delivering high-quality dishes.
Job Description/Requirements
– Assist the Executive Chef in managing kitchen staff and overseeing daily operations
– Prepare and cook dishes to the highest standards, ensuring consistency and quality
– Develop and implement new menu items and specials
– Maintain kitchen organization, cleanliness, and safety standards
– Train and mentor junior staff members
– Manage inventory, ordering, and cost control
Skills Required
– Culinary degree or equivalent experience – 3+ years of kitchen experience preferably in a fine dining or Asian cuisine restaurant – Strong leadership and communication skills – Ability to work under pressure and maintain a calm demeanor – Familiarity with kitchen management software and inventory control
