About the Role

The Digital Skills Instructor will plan and deliver engaging technology learning experiences for children aged 6–18. The successful candidate will also contribute to curriculum development, learner engagement, programme delivery, and the continued growth of NCS.

Key Responsibilities

·      Deliver engaging digital skills lessons for children and young people.

·      Facilitate introductory coding, digital literacy, robotics and AI awareness sessions.

·      Prepare lesson plans and learning materials.

·      Support holiday programmes, weekend academies and school outreach activities.

·      Encourage creativity, collaboration and problem-solving among learners.

·      Monitor learner progress and provide constructive feedback.

·      Assist in developing new learning content and activities.

Help maintain training equipment and learning spaces.

·      Represent NCS professionally during events and partnerships.

Qualifications

A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field is preferred. Final-year students expecting to graduate soon and recent graduates (0–2 years) are especially encouraged to apply.

·      Digital design or creative media.

·      Artificial intelligence tools.

·      Community volunteering or youth programmes.

Formal teaching experience is not mandatory.
