Silverback Lodge is hiring a Guest Liaison Officer to ensure every visitor feels welcomed and informed in Bwindi’s remote splendor. You’ll bridge the gap between guests—often international adventurers—and the lodge’s offerings, from gorilla trekking bookings to cultural tours, making their Ugandan experience unforgettable.

Location: Bwindi Impenetrable Forest, Uganda
Employment Type: Full-time

Key Responsibilities

• Greet guests, provide orientation, and assist with check-in/check-out.
• Coordinate activities (e.g., trekking permits, forest walks) with local guides and park authorities.
• Respond to guest inquiries about the lodge, Bwindi, and Uganda’s attractions.
• Handle special requests (e.g., dietary needs, transport) with a smile.
• Promote lodge services to enhance guest satisfaction and revenue.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years in customer service or hospitality, ideally in tourism.
• Excellent English skills (spoken/written) for US/European guests; local language knowledge (e.g., Rukiga) is a plus.
• Warm personality and patience—key in a high-expectation setting.
