Business Developer
Job Description
Location: Kampala, Uganda
Start Date: April 2025
The Business Developer is responsible for identifying and developing new commercial/business opportunities in order to increase Lapaire’s reputation and commercial development in its market. He/she reports directly to the Operations Manager.
His/her mission consists in :
Prospecting and acquiring new customers
Identify and contact new prospects (B2B) throughout the territory
Developing and maintaining a customer/partner portfolio
Negotiating and concluding partnerships
Develop branch traffic and sales
Participate in the implementation of commercial growth strategies
Work with Area Managers to maximise sales
Actively contribute to Lapaire’s reputation with target audiences/organisations
Performance monitoring and reporting
Monitor performance indicators and ensure regular reporting
Analyse results and propose corrective actions
Ensure partner satisfaction and loyalty
Profile required:
Degree in management, business, marketing or equivalent
Successful experience in business development and prospecting
Excellent negotiation, communication and customer relations skills
Entrepreneurial spirit, autonomy and ability to make proposals
Strong results orientation and adaptability

Compensation :
Base salary (gross) : 1.5M UGX
Monthly performance bonus (gross) : 800K UGX
Transportation allowance (monthly) : Safeboda wallet (150,000 UGX)
Telecommunications allowance (monthly) : 100,000 UGX
