Job Summary:
We are seeking a friendly and reliable Cashier to join the team. The ideal candidate will provide excellent customer service, handle transactions accurately, and maintain a clean and organized checkout area. Key Responsibilities:
Greet customers as they enter and leave the cafe.
Operate cash registers, scanners, and other point-of-sale equipment.
Handle cash, credit, and debit card transactions accurately.
Issue receipts, refunds, or change as necessary.
Answer customer questions and provide assistance when needed.
Maintain a clean and orderly checkout area.
Count the cash drawer at the beginning and end of shifts.
Follow all store policies and procedures regarding cash handling and security.
Requirements
Diploma, bachelors degree or equivalent preferred.
Previous cashier or customer service experience is a plus.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to stand for extended periods.
Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays.
