Background:

Joint Medical Store (JMS) is a Church founded private not for profit organization whose mission is “Provide value adding health solutions to accredited health units and other stakeholders”

JMS has been awarded a project by the United States Department of State, “AFGHS-JMS” whose goal is to support continuity of lifesaving essential medicines, medical equipment and out-break response within private-not-for-profit health facilities while accelerating the shift to accountable, interoperable and government aligned supply chain, including JMS Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) tool stabilization and Global Standards-1 (GS1) readiness. The four objectives under the AFGHS-JMS include:

• Procure, assure quality, warehouse commodities and equipment efficiently;
• Stabilize ERP; strengthen data use, and deliver priority interoperability, GS1 traceability and cyber resilience;

• Build an outbreak-ready supply chain with clear triggers, buffer stock, surge distribution and simulation;
• Strengthen PNFP workforce, governance, financing and country-led supply chain ownership

JMS is therefore seeking to hire the services of qualified, competent and motivated personnel to fill the following vacancies;

• ERP & GS1 Technical Lead

Job Summary: Lead the optimization of the ERP system and implementation of GS1 standards to strengthen supply chain visibility, interoperability, and data governance.

Minimum required: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related discipline (master’s degree in the same fields is an advantage).

Minimum 5 years of implementing and optimizing ERP systems, APls, and system intero pera bility solutions

• Database Administrator

Job Summary: Manage and maintain project ERP databases to ensure the availability, performance, security, and integrity of data.

Minimum Required: Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Minimum 5 years of database administration experience.

• Network Specialist

Design, implement, and maintain ICT network infrastructure to support reliable and secure project operations.

Degree in Networking, Computer Science, or a related field.

Relevant networking certifications preferred (e.g., CCNA or equivalent).

Minimum 5 years of experience in network administration and cybersecurity.

• ICT Service Desk Analyst

Provide first-line ERP and ICT support to project staff, ensuring timely resolution of user issues.

Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science or a related field.

Minimum 3 years of helpdesk/service desk experience.

• Supply Chain Specialist (Emergency Preparedness)

Strengthen the project’s emergency logistics capacity, ensuring commodity availability during supply chain disruptions.

Degree in Supply Chain Management, Pharmacy, or Logistics.

Minimum 7 years of experience in emergency and outbreak response supply chain management.

• Health Financing Officer

Manage financial sustainability planning and resource mobilization efforts for the supply chain system.

Degree in Health Economics, Finance, or Economics.

Minimum 5 years of experience in health financing.

• Field Officers / Embedded Supply Chain Officers

Provide day-to-day, facility-level technical assistance to strengthen commodity management and reporting practices.

• Degree in Pharmacy, Nursing, Supply Chain Management, or Public Health.

Minimum 3-5 years of facility-level implementation experience.

• M&E Specialist

Manage & enhance indicator reporting, data analysis, data visualization and evaluation activities to inform project performance management.

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Statistics, Public Health, Monitoring & Evaluation, Computer Science or a related field.

Minimum 5 years of MEL experience within donor-funded health and health systems strengthening programs preferably in the Supply Chain technical space.
