From breakfast pastries to evening treats, your creations will cater to diverse palates—think US tourists craving familiar comforts alongside locals enjoying a rare luxury—all while working with limited resources in a forest lodge.

Key Responsibilities
- Prepare a range of pastries, cakes, and desserts for daily menus and special requests.
- Innovate with local ingredients (e.g., Ugandan honey, bananas) to create unique offerings.
- Maintain a clean, organized baking station under tight schedules.
- Collaborate with the Sous Chef to align desserts with main courses.
- Manage pastry supplies, minimizing waste in a remote setting.
Qualifications
- Formal pastry training or 2+ years of experience in baking.
- Adaptability—Bwindi’s supply constraints require flexibility (e.g., no fancy imports).
- Eye for detail and passion for delighting guests with every bite.
