DREAMERS JUNIOR SCHOOL
We aim to build an innovative, replicable, and equitable education
model that makes lifelong learning a reality in Uganda.
At Little Dreamers Education Academy, we are transforming
Ugandan education into a successful and meaningful experience for
children ages 3 to 12. Through formal education and skills
development, we make lifelong learning a reality.
Programs Volunteers will be responsible for supporting the
implementation of the Life Skills toolkit and related programming
across partner primary schools, working collaboratively with school
patrons.
They will work closely with the Program Fellow to ensure the
successful implementation of the Program.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Collaborate with School patrons to co-facilitate interactive
learning labs for the youth.
2. Ensure successful program implementation and
coordination of all field programs for impact and success.
3. Hold weekly meetings with School patrons to assess progress
towards established objectives.
4. Conduct one-on-ones with School patrons for mentorship
and coaching twice a month.
5. Provide prompt feedback about the program to facilitate
timely revisions for a more significant impact.
6. Prepare detailed monthly reports with supporting
documents such as attendance lists and activity reports.
7. Record field observations using the Open Data Kit (ODK) for
each conducted field activity.
8. Work closely with M&E to administer Program surveys to
the students.
9. Together with the program fellow, prepare LDJA Termly
showcase for the LSC.
10. Work with the School patrons to prepare the LS end-of-year
showcase.
11. Share weekly program success stories with the
communications team for sharing on various platforms.
Qualifications:
1. Aged between 23 and 30 years.
2. Degree in humanities or related field.
3. Desired skills:
➢ Interpersonal skills, communication and negotiation skills, Training experience.
4. Other:
➢ Computer skills (MS Word, EXCEL, SPSS), Internet usability.
