Overall purpose of the job
Responsible for performing X-ray and ultrasound (USG) examinations in accordance with established protocols, safety standards, and hygiene measures, ensuring patient privacy and contributing to improved health outcomes.
Roles And Duties
Patient Care & Imaging
Perform safe, high-quality radiographic and ultrasound imaging to support diagnosis and treatment.
Prepare patients by explaining procedures, compiling medical history, and ensuring confidentiality.
Radiation & Safety Compliance
Enforce radiation safety protocols, including protective equipment use and safeguarding vulnerable groups (e.g., pregnant women).
Maintain hygiene standards in imaging rooms and equipment.
Equipment & Inventory Management
Conduct routine equipment checks, cleaning, and minor maintenance; report malfunctions promptly.
Manage stock inventory and requisition supplies through the pharmacist.
