Job Summary
We are seeking to Rider Inspectors to our dynamic team. The Rider Inspectors will be responsible for ensuring that the Security Officers carry out their duties efficiently and effectively.
Duties and Responsibilities
To be aware and understand every assignment instructions/equipment
To supervise the performance of guards in a given area and ensure that they carry out their duties efficiently to prevent theft or damage to clients property and premises.
To accurately check on all guards at posts and ensure that they have all the necessary equipment and uniform.
To ensure that all guards understand the respective assignment instructions and that they carry them out efficiently.
Maintain regular contacts with clients and submit accurate reports on status of each assignment in your given area.
Make entries in the Supervisor Occurrence Book and record detailed reports.
To arrange with the Field Officer for the deployment of guards and assist in arrangement of area reliever charts.
To ensure that all area assignments have the relevant assignment instructions.
To contact with the Field Officer and report to him immediately any maintain regular absence, breach of discipline or misconduct of guards.
To provide a written weekly report to the Field Officer on the happenings in the area.
Update Field Officer of any complaints received on the ground and assist in executing the corrective action.
Assist in preparation of monthly establishment records for submission to the Human Resources Manager by the end of every month.
Adherence to systems, processes and policies of Securex.
To be smartly dressed in company uniform and ensure that all equipment provided by the company for supervision are in good working order.
Ensure area is operating within budget, including the monitoring of Guards to ensure OT2, off days etc
Manage all equipment that is issued to the tasking, if the task becomes enduring then a thorough handover is required. If the task is to come to an end then the Supervisor is to ensure all equipment is handed back into the relevant department all loses or damages are to be recorded and made accountable.
Ensure all equipment is fully function when on site, if not then follow up action should be implemented.
Ensure zone guards are wearing/carrying the correct equipment at all times.
Minimum Requirements and Competencies
· A Diploma or Degree in Security Management or any relevant field.
· A minimum of three years in high level security.
· A recognised teaching or instructor qualification.
· Working knowledge of multiple security functions and security driven technology solutions.
· Needs to hold a Motorbike license with a minimum of 2 years riding experience, or a willingness to undergo Motorbike training.
