Job Title: PLANNING ENGINEER
Reports to: PROJECT MANAGER-Roads

BASIC PURPOSE:
CEMENTERS UGANDA LIMITED invites applications from suitable qualified persons for its construction activities under the scope of CPF Roads on the Tilenga project.
MAIN DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop and manage detailed construction schedules for roads
- Monitor Planned vs Actual progress and analyse schedule deviations
- Prepare look ahead schedules, recovery programs and short-term execution plans.
- Track quantities executed against BOQs to support cost and performance monitoring.
- Generate planning dashboards and present progress reports during client and internal review meetings
- Carryout delay analysis, time impact assessments and schedule updates for project control
reporting - Coordinate procurement timelines to ensure material availability in alignment with Project schedules.
QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum education: Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering
- Proven knowledge of using Microsoftware suite i.e excel, outlook, PowerPoint, word,
- Strong knowledge in Oracle Primavera P6 (MUST)
- Good knowledge and understanding of presentation and scheduling especially in Oil&Gas

- Primavera: Project planning (Basic to Advanced)
