Elysian Strategic Solutions is recruiting on behalf of a reputable FMCG client to fill the position of Accounts Assistant.
The successful candidate will support the finance function by maintaining accurate financial records, processing transactions, preparing reconciliations, and ensuring compliance with internal financial controls in a fast-paced FMCG environment.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
– Maintain accurate financial records and bookkeeping systems
– Process invoices, payments, and other financial transactions
– Prepare bank, supplier, and customer reconciliations
– Support preparation of financial reports and statements
– Ensure adherence to internal controls and financial policies
– Assist in audit preparation and documentation management
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
– Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration (Accounting/Finance option)
– CPA Level II (added advantage)
– Minimum 2 years’ experience in FMCG or manufacturing environment
KEY COMPETENCIES
– Strong understanding of accounting principles
– High proficiency in reconciliations and numerical accuracy
– Experience with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks or similar)
– High integrity, attention to detail, and accuracy
– Strong communication and reporting skills
