Key Responsibilities
- Assist in processing payments, invoices, and expense requests in line with organizational policies.
- Support in maintaining proper filing of financial documents (both physical and electronic).
- Assist in preparing payment vouchers and ensuring completeness of supporting documentation.
- Support bank and cash reconciliations under supervision.
- Participate in data entry into the accounting system accurately and timely.
- Assist in the preparation of financial reports and schedules.
- Support statutory compliance processes (e.g., PAYE, NSSF, VAT documentation where applicable).
- Assist in tracking and reconciling advances and accountabilities.
- Provide administrative support to the finance department as required.
- Participate in audits and financial reviews, including preparation of requested documentation
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Basic knowledge of accounting principles and financial procedures is a Must.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office applications.
- Professional qualification (CPA/ACCA Level I or II) is an added advantage.
- Familiarity with accounting software is an added advantage.
