Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in processing payments, invoices, and expense requests in line with organizational policies.
  • Support in maintaining proper filing of financial documents (both physical and electronic).
  • Assist in preparing payment vouchers and ensuring completeness of supporting documentation.
  • Support bank and cash reconciliations under supervision.
  • Participate in data entry into the accounting system accurately and timely.
  • Assist in the preparation of financial reports and schedules.
  • Support statutory compliance processes (e.g., PAYE, NSSF, VAT documentation where applicable).
  • Assist in tracking and reconciling advances and accountabilities.
  • Provide administrative support to the finance department as required.
  • Participate in audits and financial reviews, including preparation of requested documentation

Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Basic knowledge of accounting principles and financial procedures is a Must.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office applications.
  • Professional qualification (CPA/ACCA Level I or II) is an added advantage.
  • Familiarity with accounting software is an added advantage.
