Q-Sourcing Limited Uganda is looking for a competent, skilled and experienced Bookkeeper to join our team in Uganda
Job Title : Bookkeeper
Reports To : Group Support AP & Payroll
JOB PURPOSE:
The Bookkeeper is responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, processing daily transactions, and supporting the finance team with reconciliations, invoicing, and basic reporting tasks.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
COMPETENCES:
- Understanding of accounting Principles
- Attention to detail and high level of accuracy
- Ability to handle confidential information
- Experience with accounting systems (Zoho Books, QuickBooks)
EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:
- Record day-to-day financial transactions and ensure the accuracy of data entry into accounting systems for both receipts and payments
- Support in preparing bank reconciliations and credit card statement reconciliations.
- Filing and maintaining and organizing financial documents and records.
- Support on the month end and year end GL reconciliation for ease of monthly and annual reporting.
- Preparing monthly payment schedules for all scheduled payments and ensure that they are approved by the responsible personnel.
- Support with NSSF, PAYE, WHT and VAT Monthly filing and reconciliations.
- Support with verification and reconciliation of all petty cash accountabilities before replenishment.
- Getting all vendors invoices from EFRIS and ensuring that all are posted into the accounting system.
Mandatory requirements:
- A BachelorsUniversity or College Degree.

- Work experience in accounting
