| Role purpose and context |
|
| Key responsibilities |
- Managing the day-to-day accounting and financial operations of the Company.
- Preparing accurate monthly and quarterly management accounts.
- Maintaining proper accounting records and ensuring compliance with applicable accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
- Managing accounts payable, receivables, reconciliations and general ledger accounts.
- Preparing and reviewing statutory tax returns and ensuring timely compliance with URA and other statutory obligations.
- Supporting the preparation of budgets, cash flow forecasts and financial analysis.
- Monitoring financial controls and ensuring adherence to approved policies and procedures.
- Assisting with internal and external audits and ensuring timely resolution of audit queries.
- Monitoring premium collections, commissions, payables and other insurance-related financial transactions.

| Qualifications |
- A bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance or a related field.
- CPA (U) qualification is required.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
