Apprenticeship Training Opportunities (200 Positions)

Are you a young person eager to gain practical, l hands-on skills and real workplace experience in a specific occupation or trade? The Ministry of Gender, Labour and Social Development, with financing from the Government of Uganda, invites applications for Apprenticeship Training Opportunities under the National Apprenticeship Programme (NAP).

Eligibility Criteria

Applicants must meet the following minimum requirements:

a) Hold at least a UCE Certificate, UACE Certificate, Diploma, Degree or equivalent qualification from a recognised institution;

b) Have graduated within the last five years (2021 to date);

c) Be between 18 and 35 years of age at the time of application;

d) Demonstrate a strong interest in the priority occupation applied for;

e) Possess basic communication skills, a willingness to learn, and adaptability to different work environments;

f) Be available for the full duration of the Apprenticeship Programme as specified; and
