The University of Kisubi is interested in recruiting qualified persons to fill the following vacancies:
Assistant Accountant – One (1) Position
The Assistant Accountant shall be responsible for maintaining proper invoicing and credit records for students, as well as responding to all their queries regarding their financial obligations and standing with the University. He/she will also be the official agent with the University’s bankers as well as the immediate point of reference for the University’s correspondence relating to the finances owed by and to the University.
Qualifications, Experience, and Skills
1. Bachelor of Business Administration/Management, Bachelor of Commerce, or an equivalent degree from an institution of higher learning recognised by the National Council for Higher Education (NCHE).
2. Full professional qualification in Accountancy, i.e.. Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
3. Proven experience in using automated accounting systems and diverse accounting software.
4. At least three (3) years of working experience in a similar position in a reputable organisation, preferably in an institution of higher learning.

Digital Marketing and Social Media Officer – One (1)
Reporting to the Head of Marketing and Communications, the successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing the University’s digital marketing strategy, managing its social media platforms, producing compelling online content that reflects the institution’s academic excellence and Catholic values ana, in collaboration with the Webmaster, ensuring the University’s website content is accurate, current, brand-consistent, and optimised for search engines. This is an exciting opportunity for a creative digital professional passionate about storytelling and community engagement in a mission-driven, faith-based environment.
Qualifications, Experience and Skills
1. A Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Digital Marketing Mass Communication or a related field from an institution recognised by the NCHE; a postgraduate qualification or professional digital marketing certification is an added advantage.
2. A minimum of two (2) years of demonstrable experience in digital marketing and social media management, preferably within a higher education institution or reputable organisation.
3. Proficiency in digital marketing tools and platforms, including Google Analytics, social media advertising, and content management systems.
4. Strong graphic design and multimedia skills, alongside excellent written and verbal communication skills.
