HLB JIM ROBERTS is a growing audit and accounting firm committed to delivering high-quality financial, audit, and advisory services to a diverse client base.

We are seeking a competent and motivated individual to join our team as an Assistant Finance and Administration Officer.

POSITION SUMMARY

The Assistant Finance and Administration Officer will support the finance and administrative functions of the firm, ensuring efficient financial management, compliance, and smooth day-to-day office operations.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

FINANCE DUTIES

  • Assist in maintaining accurate financial records and books of accounts.
  • Support in preparation of financial statements and management reports.
  • Process invoices, payments, and receipts in a timely manner.
  • Perform bank reconciliations and monitor cash flows.
  • Assist in budget preparation and tracking.
  • Support audit assignments and client-related accounting work.

ADMINISTRATION DUTIES

  • Manage office supplies and coordinate procurement activities.
  • Maintain proper filing systems for financial and administrative documents.
  • Support coordination of meetings, schedules, and logistics.
  • Handle correspondence and communication with clients and stakeholders.
  • Liaise with internal teams to ensure smooth operations.
  • Assist in HR-related administrative tasks.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Professional qualifications (e.g, ACCA, CPA-Qualified or Part qualified) are an added advantage.
  • At least 1-3 years of relevant work experience in a similar role.
  • Proficiency in accounting software; experience in QuickBooks and Odoo ERP is an added advantage.
  • Strong understanding of basic accounting principles and financial reporting.
