Position Summary

The Business Development & Partnerships Officer will be responsible for driving client acquisition, developing strategic partnerships, identifying new business opportunities, and supporting revenue growth initiatives.

The role requires a proactive professional capable of building relationships with SMEs, corporates, financial institutions, investors, government agencies, and development organizations.

Key Responsibilities

Business Development

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities.
  • Develop and manage client pipelines.
  • Generate advisory, financing, and investment facilitation mandates.
  • Conduct business presentations and client meetings.
  • Prepare business proposals and service offerings.

Partnerships Development

  • Build strategic relationships with banks and financial institutions.
  • Establish partnerships with investors and development organizations.
  • Support collaboration initiatives with government agencies and business associations.
  • Represent MIC at industry events and networking engagements.

Client Acquisition

  • Source and onboard new clients.
  • Conduct client needs assessments.
  • Coordinate proposal preparation and contract negotiations.

Market Expansion

  • Identify emerging market opportunities.
  • Support regional business development initiatives.

 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Commerce, Finance, Economics, Marketing, or related field.
  • Professional qualifications are an added advantage.

Experience

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in business development, relationship management, consulting, banking, or financial services.
