Chief Finance Officer (CFO)

Are you a commercially driven financial leader?

Hugamara Group is looking for a Chief Finance Officer in Kampala to provide strategic financial leadership, drive profitability, and oversee financial operations across our business units!

Key Responsibilities:

1. Lead the Group’s financial strategy, budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and financial reporting.
2. Provide strategic financial insights to executive leadership while driving cost control and profitability improvement across all units.
3. Oversee tax compliance, statutory obligations, audits, financial risk management, and internal governance frameworks.
4. Lead the Finance Department and oversee inventory controls, procurement financial oversight, and asset management processes.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, or a related field (ACCA Level 3 completed or CPA (U) highly preferred; Master’s/MBA is a plus).
2. 8 – 10 years of progressive experience in Finance leadership roles (e.g., CFO, Head of Finance, or Finance Director).
3. Strong knowledge of financial systems, taxation, and compliance; experience in hospitality, multi-branch operations, retail, or FMCG is an added advantage!
