Stride Development Sacco is one of fast-growing financial institutions in the Rwenzori sub region. The Sacco is located on plot 4-6, Kihika road, Kisanga B cell, Nyamwamba division, Kasese municipality with members coming from the districts of Kasese, Bunyangabu, Rubirizi, Kabarole, Bundibugyo, Kampala among others. The Sacco is in the final stages of establishing new branches to extend services nearer to the members.

JOB TITTLE: DRIVER
The driver is responsible for safely transporting authorized personnel, visitors, and goods while maintaining vehicle cleanliness, performing minor repairs, and keeping accurate logs of mileage, fuel, and service.
Key roles and responsibilities include:
- Vehicle Maintenance & Safety: Driving official vehicles, conducting daily checks on water, oil, and tires, and ensuring proper maintenance. This includes driving safely in high-risk areas.
- Logistics & Documentation: Maintaining detailed logs (vehicle logbook), reporting accidents, and managing fuel consumption records.
- Professional Services: Providing passenger transport, handling courier services (delivering documents), and assisting with passenger luggage.
- Operations Support: Assisting with technical logistics, filing, and in some cases, procurement or administrative support.
Requirements and Skills
- Driving Experience: A valid driving license and extensive driving experience, with 4×4 proficiency for field operations.
- Knowledge of Regulations: Thorough understanding of Ugandan road safety laws and security procedures.
- Technical Proficiency: Basic mechanics skills for routine maintenance and minor repairs.
- Documentation Skills: Ability to maintain accurate, professional logs and records.
