Economic Policy Research Centre (EPRC)
The Economic Policy Research Centre (EPRC) is Uganda’s leading economics research institution. Its mandate is to provide research and other forms of analytical support to Uganda’s development process. EPRC uses resources from the Government of Uganda and other partners. The Centre will be providing Internship Opportunities for continuing university students who have completed their second or are in the final year of study.

RESEARCH
Department: Research Function

Disciplines: Economics, Quantitative Economics, Agricultural Economics, Statistics, Development Economics
Reports to: Respective Research Unit Head
Minimum required CGPA: 4
Main Purpose: To assist students to gain practical knowledge, enhance skills and capacities of students in economic research and policy analysis.
FINANCE
Department: Finance Function
Number of openings: Two (2)
Disciplines: BCOM, BBA Finance & BSC Accounting Reports to: Senior Accountant Minimum required CGPA: 4
Main purpose: To enrich the skills and capabilities of the students through practical knowledge and exposure in accounting and finance disciplines with multi donor settings
HUMAN RESOURCE
Department: Human Resource & Administration
Number of openings: One (1)
Disciplines: BHRM, BBA (Human Resource Major), Industrial & Organizational Psychology
Reports to: HR & Administration Manager
Minimum required CGPA: 3.5
Main purpose: To enrich the skills and capabilities of the students through practical knowledge, skills and exposure in human resource management and administration.
STRATEGIC ENGAGEMENT AND COMMUNICATION
Number of openings: 2 Positions (Knowledge Management & Communication)
Disciplines: Communication, Public Relations, Journalism, Mass Communication
Reports to: Communications Officer
Minimum required CGPA: 3.5
Main Purpose: To enhance the skills and capacities of interns in think tank communications and policy engagement through contribution to the dissemination of policy outputs, and working closely with researchers, the media, and digital platforms to amplify EPRC’s impact.
Discipline: Library and Information Science, Knowledge Management, Records and Archives Management, or a related field.
Reports to: Knowledge Management Officer
Minimum required CGPA: 3.5
Main Purpose: To enhance the skills and capacities of interns in research library systems, digital knowledge management, and institutional archiving within a leading think tank.
