Work station: Moroto district
Duties
- Provide guidance to farmers on best practices and input combinations so they make informed decisions on the products they buy.
- Keep an updated farmer’s register making use of the Kobo collect app to generate a digital profile.
- Onboard 12 active agro input agents in the year 2026 (one agent per month).
- Visit and report 300 farmers in the year 2026.
- Set up 15 functional demonstration gardens in the year 2026 .
- Develop and implement marketing strategies to increase sales at the outlets.
- Build strong relationships with farmers and customers.
- Report all Field sales and activities daily to the Extension whatsapp group.
- Organize a farmer field day at the end of the season.
Qualifications
- A minimum of a Certificate/Diploma in Crop Production from a certified institution.
- Fluent in English and local dialect (Luganda, Runyankore, Rukiga).
- Good communication skills and self-driven.
