What We Are Looking For;
Financial Accountant
We are looking for a detail-oriented and reliable Accountant to join our finance team
This role is ideal for someone who is organized, analytical, deadline-driven and able to take ownership of financial accounting processes.
Key Responsibility:
The Accountant will be responsible for ;
- Maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring all transactions are accurately recorded in QuickBooks.
- Managing invoicing, client deposits and sales postings.
- Performing and supporting reconciliations across bank, mobile money, cash and client accounts and resolving any discrepancies.
- Maintaining the fixed asset register and supporting budgeting and variance analysis.
- Ensuring proper documentation, record keeping and compliance with internal controls and audit requirements.
The ideal candidate should have :U
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance or a related field with CPA/ACCA (completed or in progress).
- 2-3 years of experience in accounting, reconciliations or financial reporting
- Proficiency in QuickBooks Online or similar accounting software.
- Strong attention to detail, analytical ability and understanding of accounting principles.
- Good communication skills, ability to meet deadlines and high integrity and professionalism
