Trade Lance Limited is a Ugandan owned Bank of Uganda regulated Fintech with 10 years’ experience. Trade Lance Limited mainly supports payments and is a service provider and operator that has a short code *252# available on MTN, Airtel and 252 customer App.
Job Summary
The job holder will review systems, processes in the company and propose improvements in the internal control, risk and governance mechanisms.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify, assess and manage organizational risk.
- Evaluating Internal controls.
- Coordinate the development of the quarterly and annual audit plan.
- Carry out system reviews and make appropriate recommendations.
- Conducting Audits and Investigations.
- Reviewing Financial and Operational Processes.
- Engage with External auditors for governance and compliance on a quarterly and annual basis.
- Any other duties assigned.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience
- The applicant should hold a bachelor’s degree in Commerce or Business Administration with an auditing or accounting major.
- Minimum of 4-5 years’ experience in internal Audit practices, techniques and principles.
- Completed Stage 2 of ACCA/CPA.
- Experience in a Fintech or telecom related inductry is an added advantage.
- Should have good customer care and communication skills.
- Excellent report writing, analytical, interpersonal and presentation skills.
- Ability to multitask, work well under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
- Strong sense of confidentiality and impartiality.
