Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role based in Kampala for a Microfinance Graduate Trainee. The trainee will support the evaluation and analysis of financial statements, assist in microfinance operations, and contribute to business development strategies. Responsibilities also include working on financial planning, providing financial literacy training, offering support to clients, and collaborating with team members to identify entrepreneurial growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of Finance and Accounting principles
• Proficiency in analyzing Financial Statements and related data
• Excellent Communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong Analytical Skills for problem-solving and decision-making
• Ability to work collaboratively and in fast-paced environments
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or related field
• Previous experience or internship in microfinance or financial services is a plus
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel, is an advantage
