About us:
Aptech Africa Ltd is an EPC (Engineering Procurement Construction) company specializing in solar energy and solar water pumping. Aptech’s services include complete energy assessments, solar designs, and solar system installations. Aptech Africa emphasizes a culture of teamwork and has the mission to make solar energy the primary means of power generation for all of Africa.
Tasks:
- Track all ongoing projects via Project Management software
- Track and update all ongoing projects and project submissions on HubSpot
- Ensure communication is smooth with clients for all project implementation
- Follow up on any outstanding tasks during project implementation period
- Track project costs in order to meet budget
- Develop and manage a detailed project schedule and work plan
- Provide project updates on a consistent basis to various stakeholders about strategy, adjustments, and progress
- Manage contracts with vendors and suppliers by assigning tasks and communicating, expected deliverables
- Utilize industry best practices, techniques, and standards throughout entire project execution
- Monitor progress and adjust as needed
- Measure project performance to identify areas for improvement
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Renewable Energy,
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in project management, experience in the renewable
- energy sector is an added advantage
- Proven expertise with project management software and tools for project planning and
- management like MS Project
- Ability to work with associates and contractors in the field and ensure safety, quality and
- schedule adherence. Must be reliable and flexible with work.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience working in Africa.
