The role holder will be responsible for the implemetation of the stock management policies and procedures of dlight.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Drive 100% cycle count at all stocking points

  • Coordinate with the Territory Business Executives to ensure that all consignments to and from ECs are closed within three days. Monitor the progress of each consignment and address any outstanding issues.

  • Ensure that the Inter EC virtual warehouse is empty, with no stock remaining. Verify that all stock has been properly distributed to the respective ECs. Take necessary actions to clear any remaining stock in the virtual warehouse

  • Update the reporting for red Sales agents, quarantined units, and redistribution requests. Ensure that the information is accurate and up to date. Highlight any urgent recovery or redistribution needs.

  • Analyze the stock reports, including aging and optimization, for the ECs being visited. Identify any discrepancies, excess stock, or stock shortages. Take note of any specific actions required based on the stock report findings.

  • Conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA): Investigate any variances or discrepancies detected during the visit. Determine the underlying causes and factors contributing to the issues and take corrective actions based on the findings to prevent recurrence.

  • Review the mapping of infrastructure to ECs and highlight ECs with low SEPs, redistribute Aged Stocks, Identify aged stocks that are not moving or have low velocity and Plan and execute the redistribution of these stocks to ECs with higher velocity. Optimize stock allocation to ensure efficient inventory management.

  • Ensure that the activities of de-bundling, redistribution, recall, quarantine, and near quarantine are aligned with the visit.

  • Compile a visit report summarizing the findings and actions taken during the visit. Use the provided template to structure the report and share the report via email with all relevant stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Minimum academic qualification is a Bachelors’ degree in inventory management, store keeping or related fields and minimum of 2 years’ experience in inventory and logistics related field
