BRANCH RELATIONSHIP MANAGER (Arua, Gulu, Lira, Soroti, Bweyale, Masindi,Hoima,and Kagadi)
Job Summary: He/She will be responsible for mobilizing, managing, coordinating and growing the Saving portfolio for corporate customers while ensuring excellent customer experience and facilitate the overall achievement of the Savings portfolio targets in accordance to Pride Bank set policies, procedures, and practices.
The Relationship Manager will directly report to the Branch Manager.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Maintain and enhance existing customer relationships and attract prospective customers to ensure business continuity and growth.
- Manage and grow an assigned portfolio of clients and identify business development opportunities to grow market share.
- Formulate and implement sales action plans for the portfolio that will facilitate the achievement of business objectives. Participate in sales campaigns,
- techniques and tactics in a planned manner to achieve sales targets.
- Prepare sales reports showing the balance sheet position, pipeline and the sales performance for the period required.
- Proactively acquire new client and drive cross-selling of additional solutions according to customer needs; as well as referring sales leads to other business stakeholders like Asset Finance, Trade finance, among others Drive the use/sale of alternative self¬service banking channels and educate customers on the benefits of utilising alternative channels.
- Grow revenue and profitability of assigned portfolio
- Drive continuous provision of high quality and timely customer experience to promote a sales & service culture within the unit
- Achievement of agreed Branch targets
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- A Bachelor’s Degree in any business- related discipline including agribusiness management .
- A minimum of 4 years’ experience in Banking Business role.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Advanced, computer literacy, numerical skills and statistical skills.
- Team player, ability to work under pressure and in position to exercise excellent judgment.
- The ability to communicate clearly both verbally and in written form in a professional manner is deemed essential. Ability to build functioning working relationships across organization.
- Takes clear accountability and focuses on delivery of broader corporate goals Ability to take decisions and progress towards goals in conditions of uncertainty.
- Ability to demonstrate positive image and role model Bank values.
- Must be a person of impeccable integrity.
- 2 Principal passes at A’Level.
- Credits and Pass in Maths and English at O’ level.
- Professional Qualification in Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM) is an added advantage.
- Should not be more than 40 years of age.
