 Rakai Health Sciences Program (RHSP) is seeking qualified Registered or Comprehensive Nurses to join its field research team in Kalisizo. The successful candidates will support community-based research by recruiting participants, obtaining informed consent, conducting interviews, providing health education and HIV counselling, collecting biological specimens, and ensuring high-quality data collection while adhering to study protocols and ethical standards.

 

Working under the supervision of research coordinators, the Research Assistants will contribute to participant follow-up, clinical referrals, biosafety, infection prevention, and accurate documentation. The ideal candidate should possess strong interpersonal skills, demonstrate professionalism and confidentiality, be fluent in Luganda, and be willing to work extensively within communities while supporting research activities across Rakai and Kyotera districts.
