For every child, the right to Deliver How can you make a difference? The Supply and Logistic Officer reports to the Head of Operations or Supply and Logistics Manager/Specialist as per the Country Office set-up for supervision and guidance. The Supply and Logistics officer provides technical and operational support as per the Country Office (CO) set-up, and is responsible for managing the supply chains of a small sized country office, or elements of the supply chains of a larger supply operation. The supply chain operations include planning, procurement, contracting, customs clearance, warehousing, in country transport and distribution, as well as monitoring of supplies, services and construction works. The incumbent supports management collaboration with programmes in defining supply interventions to meet programmatic needs and achieve results for children, and provides technical and advisory support to governments, national systems and partners on supply chain management.
- Supply Chain Service Delivery & Emergency Response
Plan, manage and monitor end‑to‑end supply chain operations to ensure timely, ethical and cost‑effective delivery of supplies and services. Strengthen emergency preparedness and response capacity in line with UNICEF’s humanitarian commitments.
- Collaboration with Programme & Implementing Partners
Work closely with programme sections, donors and implementing partners to design, plan and deliver supply components of programmes. Support partnerships, PCAs and HACT processes to ensure accountability and results for children.
- Technical & Advisory Support to Government / National Systems
Provide technical advice and support to strengthen national supply chains and systems. Contribute to capacity development, supply chain reform and sustainable solutions that improve access to essential supplies for children.
- Innovation, Products & Markets
Promote innovation in supply chain management by supporting new products, services and approaches. Contribute to market shaping and local market development to improve efficiency, access and value for money.

To qualify as an advocate for every child you will have… Minimum Requirements
- Education: Bachelor or equivalent (First Level University Degree) in Business Administration, Management, Economics, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Procurement, Contract/Commercial Law, International Development, Health or related social science field.
- Work Experience: At least 2 years of relevant work experience in at the national and international levels, in supply, logistics, procurement, contracting, administration and/or other directly-related technical fields is required. Understanding of development and humanitarian work.
- Skills: Financial Monitoring, supply chain processes, negotiation, partnership management, change management, resource management.
- Language Requirements: Fluency in English is required.
Desirables
- Language: Knowledge of another official UN language (Arabic, Chinese, French, Russian or Spanish) or a local language
- Health supply chain management, emergency experience
- Relevant experience at country level, particularly in development, fragile settings and humanitarian contexts.
